Commercial EPCS
The Commercial EPC is a requirement of European Law. It comes from the (EU) European Energy Performance of Buildings Directive (EPBD) Directive Implementation Advisory Group (DIAG).
The organisation was established in 2002 to advise the UK Government on the energy performance of buildings and the implementation of the European Energy Building Performance Directive.
Do I need an EPC?
The requirement for all commercial buildings to have an Energy Performance Certificate came into force on January 1st 2009.
New-build commercial buildings require an EPC upon completion and you cannot sell or lease your business property without first obtaining an EPC from a registered company.
Fortunately, we will make the process cost effective and simple for you.
How can we help?
Our accredited energy assessors are qualified to conduct non-domestic energy assessments for both new and existing buildings. We are accredited to assess Level 3, 4 & 5 buildings. No building is too simple or too complex.
We can evaluate proposed design details or carry out a detailed survey of existing buildings, perform the necessary calculations and generate the certificate, before lodging it on the government database, Landmark.
